The Kaplan Elevator Pitch

At some point in your career, you may be asked to deliver an elevator pitch.

An elevator pitch is a brief, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in what your company does. You can also use them to create interest in a project, idea, or even yourself in a job interview situation.

The term itself comes from a scenario of a meeting with someone important in the elevator, therefore a good elevator pitch should last no longer than a short elevator ride (30 seconds).
